Genna Tatu is the founder of CrochetByGenna, a crochet brand that offers whimsical plushies, beginner friendly patterns and weekly upbeat crochet videos. Genna is a financial consultant by day and a self-taught crocheter by night. She picked up a crochet hook for the first time in January 2022 and the rest is history. Inspired heavily by the beauty of nature and the world around her, Genna’s love and passion for crochet is evident in her work. Her patterns and videos help inspire makers from around the world to pick up a hook and create their own magical experience in the world of crochet. Genna lives with her husband, Jonas, and their two pets, Callie and Shay, in California. When not crocheting, she loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.
