I have worn two hats most of my working life. I have worked in the world of aircraft jet engine design with Rolls Royce in England and with GE in Cincinnati, OH. But I also have a love of Christian theology, and subsequently resigned from Rolls Royce in order to study theology in London, England. I also resigned from GE in order to study theology further! This book is the product of several years learning the details of Calvinism (the system of theology that stresses God's sovereignty over all things at all times), and assessing the associated features of the system with the Bible. I was motivated to write the book (a) because the doctrine of salvation is a very important one, and (b) because I believe the key tenets of Calvinism are mistaken. My hope is that all who read the book carefully will be better positioned to evaluate the claims of Calvinism and judge for themselves the degree to which Calvinism accurately reflects biblical truth.
