George (Buzz) Murphy, CISSP, CCSP, SSCP, CASP, is a keynote speaker, corporate trainer, author, and cybersecurity evangelist who, over the past three decades, has touched the lives of thousands of corporate and government audiences around the world on a variety of technical and cybersecurity topics. A former Dell Corporation global education executive, and U.S. Army IT networking security expert, he has addressed audiences at RSA, COMDEX, SecureWorld, CES, major corporations and educational institutions including Princeton University, University of Michigan, Texas A&M, and the National University of Singapore, as well as traveling worldwide addressing cybersecurity clients in military, government agencies, and major corporations across 14 countries. In an IT career spanning 35 years, he has served in senior executive positions and board positions in major security industry manufacturers and suppliers. He has also served in data center management, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance management, as well as senior security management over IT applications development, cloud management, and infrastructure implementation. As a U.S. military and private sector data center manager in the US and Europe, he has held a top-secret clearance in both US and NATO intelligence and has earned over twenty-eight cybersecurity certifications from prestigious organizations such as (ISC)2, ISACA, IAPP, CompTIA and others. He has authored, co-authored, or contributed to more than a dozen books on a range of topics including network engineering, industrial control technology, Internet of Things, IT security, and has recently served as co-author of the (ISC)2 (CCSP) Certified Cloud Security Professional Course Guide and also as technical editor for the ISC2 CCFP - Certified Cyber Forensics Professional Certification Guide from McGraw-Hill. He is a contracted author with Sybex, a Wiley Publishing imprint, and the National Cyber Security Institute, Washington, DC.
