Gigi McMoore

Gigi McMoore writes stories for young readers, celebrating Sāmoan culture and gently introducing the Sāmoan language. Her debut book, Pai and the Ocean’s Gift, honors her late Papa. Rooted in Sāmoan traditions, her stories highlight gratitude, family, and the multi-generational bonds cherished across many cultures. Gigi is excited to bring more stories to life, drawing inspiration from her heritage and the simple, meaningful moments of everyday life. When she’s not writing, she enjoys sharing her love of books with her little one—who often insists on climbing into her lap.
