Giselle Ates

关于作者

Giselle Ates is a writer in Kingwood, Texas. She began writing while working as a registered nurse at Ben Taub Hospital for Baylor College of Medicine, which is where she gained some of her insights for her novels, Fractured Reflections and Sinister Reflections. In 1992, she left her nursing job to teach. During this time, she began writing educational plays, such as her Shakespeare Blinged Out series, stories such as The Adventures of Mitzie Mae the Texas Aussie, and mystery parties as fundraisers for her students. During this time, she began creating books with her classes and assisting individual children in their writing and publishing endeavors. For over two decades, she hosted Author Parties and library displays through several academic and service organizations to encourage students to create and share their books. In 2012, Mrs. Ates stopped teaching to focus on her writing and self-publishing endeavors. When she became a grandmother, she began writing her educational books about Kiddo and his friends who become Superheroes by making safe, healthy, and super choices. Giselle Ates is currently writing a children’s book about honeybees, several more books for her children's series Super Kiddo the Superhero, another novel, and her Dragonfly Days blog.
