Does author Glenda Carroll swim in San Francisco Bay? Yes, she does. Has she trained for open water races? Many times. Has she been the victim of a serious accident while in the water? Ah … no. That’s where the imagination comes in. Since Carroll swims, sails, and surfs, she’s comfortable telling stories that take place in and around water. She is a writing professional with a long career in journalism. Starting with a column for her middle school newspaper, she’s been an editor and writer for sailing, surfing, and travel publications, nationally and internationally. Carroll tutors first-generation high school and college students in English and History. She is president of the Northern California Chapter of Sisters in Crime and a member of Mystery Writers of America. She lives in San Rafael California with her dog McCovey.
