Gordon Chism was raised in the western high desert by a loving, middle-class family. Challenged by dyslexia, he had a difficult time with academics, but nurtured a lifelong curiosity and a philosophic nature. Over the years, he earned a living as a builder and sculptor, and now as a writer. His third published book, "The Thinking Person's UFO Book," was awarded a 2009 IPPY Bronze medal in the science category and was a finalist in the 2009 Next Generation Indie Book Awards in the social change category. Gordon has completed the revised edition of his first book, "As I Remember," a recollection of his 1940s childhood growing up in Reno, Nevada. It is now available on Amazon. He has three bright and beautiful daughters and three super grandchildren. He lives in a majestic small town on the northern California coast with a wonderful woman, who is also his publisher and partner. Life is good.
