Grace Phillips is an Italian-American nutritionist consultant, born and raised in Sicily. Grace spent her whole childhood on her native island, developing a passion for local dishes and healthy foods. Later on, in the US, she undertook her studies as a nutritionist and chemist, following her innate passion for healthy cuisine and lifestyle. After graduating, she started her career as a nutritionist consultant, a role that suited her thoroughly, as she soon became renowned for improving her patient’s health. She learned in-depth about foods threatening our health and triggering defensive body reactions, such as inflammation. Grace shares these insights within her books, aiming to make people more aware of how some compounds found in food can affect our longevity. Grace loves to exercise outdoors in her spare time, as she firmly believes a healthy and anti-inflammatory diet needs to be combined with a regular workout.
