Greg Banish

I am an automotive engineer, trainer, and consultant, with over 20 years of experience as a powertrain calibrator for several major OEMs. My background and education is primarily in mechanical engineering and combustion systems. As a former high performance shop owner, I have lots of first hand experience with the challenges faced by tuners and enthusiasts alike who are constantly looking for an edge when it comes to engine and powertrain controls. I've had the rare opportunity to work on some really interesting projects over the years ranging from 9-second drag racers to the latest in gasoline direct injection technology and hybrids. I have taken decades of knowledge in both the OEM engineering world and high performance industry and applied it to my books, classes, and consulting that I now offer through my company, Calibrated Success. I regularly attend track events and trade shows where I have met some of the greatest people in the industry. I'm always impressed by the ingenuity of racers and their unique problem solving approaches. I try to bring common sense and sound engineering principles to the performance arena.
