Greg Loades is a former editor of The Alpine Gardener, quarterly journal of the Alpine Garden Society, and writes frequently about gardens and gardening for magazines such as Kew, LandScape, and Garden News. His writing has also appeared in many popular publications, including BBC Gardeners' World, where he was gardening editor, and the luxury garden publication The English Garden, where he was deputy editor. He lives in Hull, UK with his wife and three sons and spends most of his spare time in his garden.
