关于作者

Greg Ward was born in Huntsville, Alabama, where his father was stationed with the Air Force. In 1969, Greg and his family settled in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains, where his mother was raised. He has fished the lakes, streams and rivers of East Tennessee and beyond since he was old enough to pick up a rod and reel. Turning his love of everything outdoors into a career, Greg has been a full-time hunting and fishing guide since 1989. He owns and operates Rocky Top Outfitters, a hunting and fishing guide service specializing in stream fly-fishing, spin fishing, and guided turkey and bear hunts. For thirty years, Greg has worked to solve area water quality issues. A riveting storyteller, Greg’s hunting and fishing articles and anecdotes have appeared in numerous newspapers and outdoor magazines. He was a contributor to H. Lea Lawrence’s book, The Fly Fisherman’s Guide to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and contributed a chapter in Don Kirk’s bestselling book Fly-Fishing Guide to the Great Smoky Mountains. Greg has hosted several radio shows and has been a popular presenter at Pigeon Forge’s annual Wilderness Wildlife Week, where he shares his passion for fishing in the Smokies with visitors from all over the country. Greg lives in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, with his wife and daughter and is currently working on plans for a second book. Visit Greg’s website at www.rockytopoutfitter.com.
