Gretchen Peterson is the author of the best-sellers, City Maps: A Coloring Book For Adults, and GIS Cartography: A Guide to Effective Map Design as well as, Cartographer's Toolkit: Colors, Typography, Patterns, and co-author of QGIS Map Design. Peterson is a cartographer consulting to some of the largest companies in the world and always with the aim to better the world and visualize it meaningfully. She has made hundreds of static maps, dozens of map apps, and contributed to the most popular global, multi-zoom basemaps of the world.
