Guillermo Alejandro Yañez Sandoval

My quest for purpose and transformation through my faith in Jesus Christ began at the age of 18 in Mexico City. Confronting questions about my identity, I lived under constant pressure and anxiety. However, during that period of uncertainty, I understood the need to explore different spiritual paths. It was at a youth Christian camp where I had a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ, changing my life forever. This newfound faith not only provided me with a profound sense of purpose but also an opportunity to share the love and teachings of Christ with those around me. The anxiety and pressure that had plagued me for years dissipated, replaced by a newfound confidence and peace. I no longer feared the uncertainties of life or death, understanding that we are all created by God, who is in control of everything. Through my relationship with Jesus, I found the strength to break free from expectations and discovered a life of true joy. Regarding my professional background, I hold a bachelor's degree in actuarial science from Mexico, and I earned an MBA from ITAM with a thesis on the application of stochastic prediction models in innovation processes. In 2018, I founded Simplifiers, a consulting firm specializing in market research and business intelligence. Before my role as a consultant, I accumulated 24 years of experience in consumer strategy, market research, and business analytics processes in Latin American and U.S. business units. Together with my wife Mary, we have been actively involved in our local church in Mexico City and Querétaro, serving as youth advisors for over 10 years. This experience taught us the importance of being intentional in our walk with Jesus, setting aside time for His word and reflecting on how to apply His teachings in our lives and in serving others. In 2023, we relocated to Carmel, Indiana, USA, where despite the physical distance from my children, family, and friends, we continue to set aside time for devotionals, encouraging each other to bring comfort and hope to those in need of Jesus. My desire is to continue serving the Lord in this new chapter of my life. Working with young people has ignited my relationship with God, and every time I say yes to any calling, He blesses me in ways that make me feel like I am the one being served.
