Guillermo Dalchiele

Born in Buenos Aires, he graduated in Advertising and Graphic Arts and emigrated to Rio de Janeiro in 1986, where he worked for several years in agencies and cultural production companies. With over 35 years of experience in the artistic and cultural field, Guillermo Dalchiele has created exhibitions, art events, concerts, plays and countless graphic products, introducing classic works of art into all of his projects whenever possible. As a book designer, he has edited over 35 art publications since 1989, including hardcover books and catalogs for museums and exhibitions. As an author and illustrator, he launched the first comic book of Jewish humor in Brazil, together with Adam Grzybowski, published in 2001, in Brazil and Argentina. A comic book lover, in 2008 he published "Bible Unauthorized Version", as the author and illustrator, a humorous adaptation of the holy scriptures. In 2017, he released the comic book "Kardec and the Spirits", which he also wrote and illustrated, it is a graphic novel that presents the life and work of Allan Kardec, introducing spiritualist concepts to children, young people and adults, in a dynamic and engaging format. The book has already sold out its first three printed editions, and in addition to Brazil, where it is still on sale, it has also been published in the United States and France. Guillermo Dalchiele is currently working on his own project, ‘Arts & Comics’, which presents stories and great literary epics, illustrated with universal works by the greatest artists of humanity, in the dynamic and contemporary language of comics. In addition to the books presented here, his most recent work in the ‘Arts & Comics’ project is the book ‘Brazil and the History’, which offers an original and unprecedented approach, combining history, education and entertainment. The project, awarded by the Secretariat of Culture of the Government of Rio de Janeiro, was printed in a luxury publication, and is currently distributed free of charge in several public schools and universities throughout Brazil.
