Guruprasad Madhavan

Guru Madhavan is Norman R. Augustine Senior Scholar and senior director of programs at the U.S. National Academy of Engineering. A biomedical systems engineer, he is author of "APPLIED MINDS: How Engineers Think" (W.W. Norton & Co) that has been translated into many languages. For his books and lectures, he has been awarded the IEEE-USA Award for Distinguished Literary Contributions Furthering Public Understanding and the Advancement of the Engineering Profession.
