Gwynne Richards

Gwynne Richards, born in Whitland, West Wales has spent his whole career in logistics. His books have helped numerous people advance their careers in logistics and also opened the world of supply chain to many more readers. He started his own supply chain logistics consultancy and training company in 2003. He has worked with clients including Pirelli, Bridgestone, Wilkinson Stores, RICS, The Metropolitan Police and Mizuno. He runs Warehouse Management courses for the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Supply Chain Academy, Informa and produced Masters modules in Transport Techniques and Warehouse Management for the University of Warwick both in the UK, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong.He also runs courses in the UAE, Malaysia and Africa. He is a practicing associate of The Academy of Experts and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning. Warehouse Management is his first book, now in its fourth edition. A second book on Supply Chain and Logistics Tools has been co-written with Sue Grinsted and is in its third edition. A third book - The Logistics Outsourcing Handbook was recently co-written with Jo Godsmark.
