H.M. Sandlin writes urban fantasy, contemporary fantasy, and both young adult and new adult fantasy novels. When she isn’t writing, she’s spending time with her husband, kids, and two australian shepherd puppies. She lives in South Carolina and loves hiking in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. H.M. has written eleven novels and is already working on three more. She loves world-building and creating her cast of unforgettable characters. Her desk is littered with sketches and stories for each character she writes, not just the main character. Eventually, she may write a story for all the characters that enter the worlds of both The Elemental Seekers and The Guardianship. H.M. takes her writing time seriously and spends hours working on it to create the best experience for her readers. When she isn’t writing she’s usually trying to play with her puppies or get her kids out hiking with her, though usually, they end up at the park instead.
