Harry Rogers

Hello my name is Harry Rogers, and I live in the UK. I enjoy making things, and keeping old crafts alive. I have posted close to 500 videos on my YouTube Channel called Harry Rogers, and it has attracted over 30 million views. I have done 'deep dives' into both shoemaking by hand, and all things sock knitting on the circular machines. I love the leather crafts, and for years I ran a small workshop posting belts, wallets and bags all over the world. I have also researched the fibre arts including spinning and weaving, and as I have an interest in all things mechanical, it seemed a natural progression that I should be drawn into the world of sock knitting machines. Both my shoe making, and my circular sock knitting machine books take a very practical hands on approach. I do not assume any previous knowledge, and I take you through making shoes and making socks in great detail. I have been through these making journeys, and I have had so many questions on YouTube that I know where people are likely to want extra help, and I use a comprehensive step by step approach with lots of colour photographs, so you can make rapid progress, and have the wonderful feeling of using something that you have made yourself.
