Harvey Berman lives in Atlanta, where he earned a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering and a PhD in Psychology, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology. After graduation, Harvey spent nearly two decades applying math and statistics skills to real-world problems, mainly in the areas of market research and strategic planning. In 2000, Harvey retired and, with time on his hands, developed StatTrek.com, an educational website that helps people teach themselves statistics. Harvey's first book, "Flexbox for Responsive Web Design," emerged from his web development experience. Then, late in life, he bought a small revolver. That led to Harvey's second book, "Handgun Marksmanship". In his spare time, Harvey plays golf and bridge - both poorly.
