Heather Couch

Heather Couch is a school counselor and is completing her mental health licensure. She was a candidate for Cincinnati Public School Board for 2019. In 2016, Heather received her MA in School Counseling from Xavier University. As a school counselor, Heather helped create and implement the Whole Child Initiative, implement a new college and career curriculum, and spearhead the social emotional learning curriculum. She was on the Kentucky School Counselor Association board, the American School Counselor Association Position Statement Committee, and she has presented at school counselor conferences throughout the Midwest on the social emotional needs of gifted students. She wrote a resolution to CPS Board Policy concerning school counselors. She is passionate about being an advocate and being involved in the community.
