Henri van Maarseveen

I am a self-taught data scientist and entrepreneur with a background in Forex trading and various tech projects. Currently based in Tokyo, Japan, I am working on creating a machine learning tool or indicator for the Forex market. I have a history of taking on tech projects, such as starting a web silver store and doing Java game development. In 2012, I became interested in aquaponics and built a solar-powered greenhouse to experiment with this method of growing food without fertilizers. I also gained hands-on experience with solar systems by installing a 450 watt solar panel with a battery and charger. In the past, I have also worked as a system analyst at Nationale-Nederlanden, where I developed new Powercenter workflows and ETL batch jobs, and as a database developer at Rakuten, where I developed Powercenter mappings for their data warehouse and worked on a software ETL project to compare articles sold by Rakuten and other retailers.
