HERMAN G. HALL, an award-winning journalist and publisher of EVERYBODY’S, the Caribbean-American magazine, has written extensively about Caribbean life and history. He was a part of the White House Press corps who accompanied President Ronald Reagan on his historic trip to Jamaica and Barbados in April 1982 and accredited to cover the inaugurations of President Barack Obama. Hall was an early organizer of Brooklyn’s Caribbean Carnival on Labor Day weekend and has produced Caribbean concerts and plays at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, Radio City Music Hall, Lehman Center, Boston’s Prudential Center and other famed performing arts venues. Even as a toddler, he was fascinated by Julien Fédon. Hall is the proud grandfather of Penelope, Adrian and Lucia.
