Hilary Emerson Lay

Hilary Emerson Lay grew up in Brewster, Massachusetts. She has a BFA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing, with a concentration in Children's Book Writing and Illustration, from Emerson College. For ten years Hilary managed The Spirit of '76 Bookstore in Marblehead, Massachusetts. She currently lives in Western MA where she is a visual artist, Assistant Director of Summer Art Barn, and the founder of Bubo Arts Collective. You can check out her work at www.hilaryemersonlay.com.
