While raising four children as a single mother, she returned to school and earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Calgary, Alberta. She furthered her education in a Masters in Educational Leadership, San Diego State University. Writing is Hilary’s favourite pastime. She has penned textbooks and created several computer programs.
