Holly Rae Provan

Holly Provan was born and raised in Washington state, and grew up in a small cabin in the forest. She loved running among the trees and the solitude of the woods as a child. In her twenties, she moved to Florida for two years and met her husband, with whom she moved to California. She has lived the past 13 years in the Los Angeles area. Holly is a registered nurse and mom to two little girls. She lives with her husband and daughters in Burbank, California and has found an amazing community there. While she always enjoyed writing (considering for a time a career in journalism), her true passion was helping and caring for people. She adores being a nurse. Holly spends much of her free time exploring the outdoors, having adventures with her husband and daughters, training with her running group, and being a passionate advocate for mental health. She will often joke that she is actually a grandma, as she loves to bake, garden, and crochet.
