Howard W. Stone

Howard Stone, Ph.D., is a psychologist, marriage and family therapist, theologian ,and professor emeritus at Texas Christian University. In addition to teaching at TCU, he directed a counseling center in Arizona for a number of years. He is the author of a number of influential books on counseling and has served on numerous editorial boards of professional journals. He has lectured on pastoral counseling, depression and counseling throughout the United States as well as over twenty other countries. Howard Stone has been married for over 60 years and has a daughter, two granddaughters, and one great granddaughter. He has many interests including traveling, fishing, baking bread and pizza, walking, volunteering at a homeless shelter, and antique radios and tube amplifiers.
