Hussein Sakr

Hussein Sakr is a writer, illustrator, and father of four daughters. His work includes Islamic-themed coloring books, journals for young adults, and the "Yusuf and Yasmeen" storybook series for children, with 17 publications available on Amazon. Hussein enjoys creating engaging stories and illustrations that connect with readers of all ages. Growing up as the son of Dr. Ahmad H. Sakr, Hussein developed an appreciation for Islamic teachings that continues to inform his work today. He participates in community activities and supports interfaith understanding. Hussein served as Chief Editor of "The Voice of Muslim Youth" newsletter, providing young Muslims with opportunities to express themselves and build community connections. Hussein's creative work extends to co-authoring the Biscuit and Gracie comic strip. He values the contributions of his wife and daughter, who help edit and shape his books into family collaborations.
