I.P. Kvasir is the pen name of Ionuț Sorin Popsea, a Romanian poet and entrepreneur born in Oradea in 1986. He writes poetry with provocative and erotic themes and considers himself an avant-garde artist inspired by Kahlo, Dali, Picasso, Kandinsky, Baudelaire, and Bukowski. He is also the co-founder of Revista Golan, a literary magazine based in Romania. He has published one book, „Joc Orgastic” (Orgastic Game), in 2020 and contributed to several Revista Golan`s print editions. „I believe in the magic of humanity. I like to taste it and lose myself in her arms as a beguiling mistress. For me, poetry is a form of theurgy. It embraces, stirs, cleanses, and heals in the most occult way possible. I don't believe in archaic deities, although I am a fan of the folk mythology in the world’s various cultures. The only deity I worship is the woman next to me. I usually write after a few strong drinks, giving me a fresh and nuanced perspective on the things around me. I believe in art and everything beautiful. Poetry is the dark, intimate, vulnerable place where my demons renew their strength each time. When I bleed through words, I feel time vibrate, how every molecule in me resonates with the universe in an orgastic play.”
