Iggy Garcia

Ignacio (Iggy) Garcia is a Native of Peru, South America, and has been taught the sacred ways and arts of Peruvian Shamanism, and also walks the red road with The Nemenhah Indigenous Traditional Organization. and is recognized as a Medicine Man, Minister Chief, and elder. Iggy is a spiritual leader in his community in Columbus, Ohio; yes, I am a Buckeye fan (O-H!) My family immigrated to the USA in the late ’60s. I grew up in two different worlds and learned to navigate and merge two cultures into my life, but the world is my playground. I am an obsessive learner who reads, writes, produces, and hosts podcasts (Iggy LIVE) and WithInsight Radio. My biggest passion is creating community through drumming, dance, song, sacred ceremonies from my homeland, and other indigenous teachings.
