Mr Ignaty Dyakov

Ignaty Dyakov is a linguist and author with Master's degrees in Linguistics (St Petersburg State University) and Political Economy of Russia (University College London). He is the author of a series of unconventional language textbooks (available as paper-backs, ebooks and audio-books) now used at universities, schools, and language courses all over the world. Ignaty is a member of the Society of Authors (UK) where he was the Chair of the Education Writers Group in 2019-2023. He has been featured in The Times, The Guardian, interviewed by Thomson Reuters, The Voice of Russia, REN TV and BBC Radio 5 Live. Ignaty now lives in the UK and continues to write educational materials and short stories. He enjoys reading, gardeningm travelling and vegan cooking.
