Iman Kurdi

Iman Kurdi is a 34-year-old woman, born in Aleppo Syria, and raised in Copenhagen Denmark. She debuted with Muhammad+Khadija, the first book in the “Abulaban Brothers” series. Inspired by her many conversations with her own children, and the lack of books in Danish that convey religious and value-based content for Muslims, she began writing children’s books for middle-grade audiences to connect day to day life in the West with Muslim practices. Muslim prayers are a central theme in many of her writings.
