Ioannis Solos

Ioannis Solos PhD., MMed., MD (China)., LAc, holds a Master’s of Medicine from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, and a Medical PhD in Integrative Medicine from the Jinan University in Guangzhou. Dr. Solos is classically trained in Acupuncture and Canonic Herbalism (Jing Fang). He is a world-renowned authority on tongue diagnosis, and his published research focuses on the application of tongue observation in historical and modern epidemics. His clinical expertise also includes orthopedic acupuncture for spinal and musculoskeletal problems, neuro-acupuncture for neurological disease rehabilitation, and his own set of manipulations for “tendon and fascia reconditioning” for joint and spinal diseases. Ioannis is an established academician, with numerous books and peer-reviewed articles, as well as a popular lecturer. He is currently serving in the editorial boards of several academic journals and is involved in numerous committees for the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies.
