My name is Irena. I am an embroidery designer from Latvia. The brand name is “Irena Gasha Embroideries.” Embroidery is my passion and profession. Over the years, I have developed my own unique style, influenced by history—drawn from paintings, ancient jewellery, and fashion. I am particularly inspired by historical embroidery materials, which add a unique charm to my work. Since 2005, I have been creating embroidered jewellery and handbags. Ten years ago, I shifted my focus toward teaching hand embroidery, sharing my knowledge and inspiring students from various countries. Alongside teaching, I continue to create hand-embroidered jewellery collections. My main interest and goal currently are publishing books on the art of embroidery, where I aim to share my expertise, techniques, and passion with a wider audience.
