Isabel Höppner

Hey, I'm Isabel Höppner. I have two great sons and love being out and about in nature. Even as a child I lost myself for hours in fantastic stories - today I write children's books myself to pass on this enthusiasm. With my stories, I want to give children fun, courage and imagination, because I am convinced that little adventures and read-aloud stories can show how important friendship and solidarity are. I used to work in geriatric care, which I did with a lot of heart. For health reasons, however, I had to rethink my career and discovered my passion for storytelling. I live surrounded by woods and fields, and often a walk with my dog or a beautiful sunset is enough to fire my imagination. Books can give us courage, open up new worlds and become faithful companions. That's exactly what I want to convey in my stories: Children should immerse themselves in colourful worlds and at the same time learn how important friendship and trust are.
