28 years successively in the engine room, on the deck and on the bridge. A life dedicated to the ships. I left the captain's post, but I could not part with the history of the Navy. Therefore, I write about ships based on the information that I have been collecting for 40 years. What is being prepared for release: 1. Fighting Ships of the World 2025 - April-May 2025; 2. Fighting Ships of the Soviet / Russian Navy 1945 - 2025: volume 3, patrol and coastal combatants - spring 2025; 3. The Great Fleet List: volume 3, 1780 - 1819 - winter 2024/2025. What has already been published: 1. Fighting Ships of the World 2024 in 2 volumes; 2. Fighting Ships of the World since 1990 in 5 volumes; 3. Fighting Ships of the PLA Navy 1949 - 2024; 4. Fighting Ships of the World War II 1937-1945 in 9 volumes; 5. Fighting Ships of the World War I 1914 - 1918 in 2 volumes. 6. The Great Fleet List, volumes 1 and 2, 1700 - 1779; 7. Fighting Ships of the Soviet / Russian Navy 1945 - 2025, volumes 1 (submarines) and 2 (principal surface combatants). Why not create a global project? The Great Fleet List will contain information about, if possible, all the warships of the world from 1700 to the present day. The first two volumes, 1700-1739 and 1740-1779, were published. There are not many drawings there yet, but in the 18th century the appearance of the ships was almost the same. But from volume to volume there will be more and more drawings. The cheapest (97.18USD in a paperback version with black and white photos and 199.97USD in a hardcover version with color photos for 990 A4 pages), the most complete (only we have examined in detail all armed coast guards), the most illustrated (sideview drawings on a standard scale are presented for all classes of warships with a total displacement of over 1000 tons, landing ships and ships of paramilitary organizations over 2000 tons and auxiliaries over 5000 tons and, additionally, for many other classes with a smaller displacement) the annual naval directory has been published! Now - every year! The series "Fighting ships of the World since 1990" is completed. The five volumes published on 2019 A4 pages contain 4797 articles on ship classes, accompanied by 2687 side view drawings and a large number of photographs. The work on the unique series "Fighting ships of World War Two", started in 2003, is over. 2121 pages of the manuscript, which fit into several volumes, contains 2730 articles on individual ship classes, accompanied by 1994 drawings of side views of ships in a scale of 1:1250 or 1:625 and a huge number of photographs. Each purpose built warship with a displacement of more than 100 tons and each converted civilian vessel with a tonnage of more than 1,000 gross tons has her own line in the table. Every combat boat with a displacement of more than 10 tons and every converted civilian vessel with a capacity of more than 500 grt are mentioned in the corresponding articles with years of commissioning / decommissioning. All converted civil vessels with a capacity of more than 100 gross tons have been calculated and described in total. All ship-based aircraft, produced in quantities of more than 10 units, are described. Giant summary tables of the characteristics of naval weapons are given. To be honest, I don't know any analogues of this work.
