Jéssica is a Brazilian journalist, translator, writer, and child development expert who now calls the Pacific Northwest home. In her books, she combines her love for storytelling, bilingualism, and Brazilian heritage to create enchanting series that always have something to teach, whether to children or adults. In her free time, she enjoys reading, a hot cup of coffee, cuscuz, and the company of her husband and their furry orange cat, Kaká. When faced with writer's block, Jéssica switches from her keyboard to her trusty sidekick, Fairy Feather, a mischievous pen that loves to draw stars and smiley suns in her note margins.
