J.D. Cannon

JD Cannon sees faeries everywhere she goes, but especially in her imagination. As a former drama instructor, English teacher, and principal, she worried that students from middle-school and high- school were not being challenged to connect history, vocabulary, and cultural experiences with vivid imagination. Having traveled the world extensively, JD tried to integrate her own travels with her students' learning experiences. Now, one such traveling adventure has morphed into Am Bratach Sith: the Faery Flag. As she stood before the yellowed and tattered flag at Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye, JD asked that question "What if..." and a story of fairy lore, family, and Scotland began to unfold.
