J.D. Stone is the pen name for Daniel Piedra, author of the Knight of the Apocalypse series, which includes The Vagabond Codes. Born in Miami and raised in Michigan, he now lives in Ave Maria, Florida. Daniel received his law degree from the University of San Diego and his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. Before entering legal practice, he taught middle- and high-school English.
