I reside in Alabama with my wife of 25 years and our daughter, along with our two rescue Black Mouth Cur dogs and several rescued cats. Yes, even my wife would tell you that I rescued her heart! My life has taken many diverse paths, influenced by my time in the military and gunsmithing, leading to roles as an armed security guard and a corrections officer. While early agricultural experience, which include assisting with cattle from birth to butchering and later attending culinary school, would come in handy later, spending years as a butcher and meat market manager. Mixing in there several years working in a shipyard constructing military vessels like the USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) This brings me to the present where I can now add author to my list of achievements, something that those that know me would have never even considered an option. My wife and I enjoy living in this area, making it easy to pursue my many interests from camping, hunting, and local Civil War history, all things dealing with the outdoors. One can never predict the trajectory of life. It is not solely about the destination but rather the journey itself and the companionship we have along the way Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little.
