J.R. Francois is a writer born in the United States and raised in the Puerto Rico island. Graduated from the University of Puerto Rico - Humacao Campus in the area of English Morphology and Phonology. She earned her master's degree from Phoenix University in English Curriculum Technician. She served as an English Professor in the public system of Puerto Rico. She is currently retired from her profession with the goal of continuing to travel to different parts of the world to learn about other cultures and thus enrich her stories. Her romantic and adventurous attitude of traveling to learn about the culture of other countries form the central point of her stories. She uses cultural diversity in all her narrations where the family receives great importance in the life of the human being. Her romantic stories always present a social problem where women are affected by the development of life in society. Her interest in writing arose during the scourge of Hurricane Maria that left her island devastated. To keep her mind busy, she began to write and put everything into words until her first book, El Sendero del Destino, written in English. After visiting some countries in Europe, the author sees the importance of changing her story to the Spanish language. The book had an unexpected success, so she decides to write in the Spanish language to reach the Hispanic community. When she's not writing, she spends her time traveling and taking care of pets for other adventurous travelers. Always pausing to share more time with her family.
