Updated Ye Olde Bio: J. Walt Layne is an author, freelance writer and former columnist for The Albany Journal. He got his start writing articles for Ritchie’s The Backwoodsman Magazine. His fiction credits include stories in a dozen new pulp and noir anthologies reviving characters from pulp’s golden age. He is the author of the Champion City Series starring Thurman Dicke and Frank Testimony, a legal thriller. He is a veteran of the US Army.
