JD Long

JD Long is a long time user of R and active member of the R community. He founded the Chicago R User Group, regularly speaks at R related conferences, and is co-author of the R Cookbook 2nd Edition. JD is a VP of risk management at Renaissance Re where he regularly uses a myriad of open source tools to work with stochastic models and reinsurance management challenges. JD lives in Richmond, Virginia with his wife, a reformed trial lawyer, and their 12 year old daughter.
