My name is Jhon Aska, and I am an author, Spanish teacher, and passionate traveler. With over fifty years of life experience, my writing is shaped by the experiences I’ve had, my love for languages, and my curiosity about the world. I was born in a small town, where I developed a passion for reading and foreign languages at a young age, particularly Spanish, which I began studying in high school. After finishing high school, I decided to pursue Linguistics, graduating from the University of Barcelona, where my interest in Spanish culture and language grew significantly. After graduation, I started teaching Spanish, a career that allowed me to travel and live in various Spanish-speaking countries such as Mexico, Argentina, and Spain. Each experience enriched me and gave me the opportunity to gather stories and perspectives that now influence my writing. My first book, a collection of short stories set in different Spanish-speaking regions, was published when I was in my forties and received good reviews, especially for its vivid descriptions and cultural insights. Since then, I’ve continued writing, publishing novels, travel memoirs, and other works that blend my love for language, travel, and human relationships. Today, I continue teaching Spanish, sharing my passion with students of all ages, while also writing. My books are known for their engaging narrative style, cultural reflections, and universal themes such as personal growth and the importance of cross-cultural understanding. When I’m not writing or teaching, I love exploring new countries, photographing local customs, and meeting people from diverse backgrounds. I believe that language is a key to understanding others, and that storytelling has the power to break down barriers between people.
