Jack Hilligoss

Jack Hilligoss is a husband, father, Pastor, and Christ follower. He is also the acting Mayor of Lake Wales, FL. He has been a Pastor for 30+ years, discipling and equipping believers from small churches in Midwestern cornfields to multi-cultural churches in the inner city. In the Spring of 1997, he and his family moved to Lake Wales, Florida where Jack became the Lead Pastor of what is now HighPoint Church. Through many years of diligent leadership, unified planning and alongside many other faithful leaders, HighPoint Church has grown from 100 congregants to 1,200+ congregants every Sunday. Through the years, Jack has overcome many personal struggles while also leading others through their own. His faithful return to studying the Word of God, paired with his giftedness to deliver sound teaching and revelation has proven to be his calling. To further answer that call, Jack has regularly been approached to write books and articles that express what he has learned over the years. You will find deep rooted wisdom, sound doctrinal teaching and insightful reflection in each chapter of each book. Perhaps, you will find the need to consider Scripture as more than a resource, but as the expression of the consistent Truth of God preserved for each of us to understand more about who we are and who God is.
