Jack L. Roberts

Jack L. Roberts is an editor and author of educational materials for students and teachers in K-12. He is also the author of numerous nonfiction books for young readers published by Scholastic Inc., Lerner Publishing Group, Teacher Created Materials, and Benchmark Education. His books include biographies of Nelson Mandela, Dian Fossey, Garth Brooks, Oskar Schindler, and many others. Recently, he launched Curious Kids Press (CKP), an educational publishing company focusing on informational texts for young readers, including two series -- "PlanetKids" and "A Kid's Guide to..." -- designed to introduce young readers to countries and cultures around the world. His other books published by CKP include Wildlife Heroes: The Story of Joy and George Adamson, and Lady Chief: The Story of Vyola J. Olinger and the Agua Caliente Indians, and Unsung Heroes: The Story of the U.S. Secret Service. Jack resides in sunny Palm Springs, California.
