I am the mother of one adorable, hyper, sweet and sassy almost 6 year old girl. I have been interested in writing children's books for a while and finally decided to take the plunge with my debut title "The Slightly Different but Totally Awesome Zoo". In it we learn that although the animals don't fit the "norm", there are many others that are slightly different just like them and that's totally awesome! Kids come in all different shapes, sizes and definitely different personalities. These differences are a cause for celebration!
