Dr Jacqueline Riding MA FSAScot FRHistS, Trustee of the Jacobite Studies Trust, Turner's House Trust, and Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, the Royal Historical Society, the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art, Stanford Business School and the Clore Leadership Programme. Former curator of the Palace of Westminster and Director of the Handel House Museum, she is an award-winning author, and consultant for museums, galleries, historic buildings and feature films. She was the adviser on Mike Leigh’s "Mr. Turner" (2014), "Peterloo" (2018) and Wash Westmoreland’s "Colette" (2018). Her publications include “Jacobites: A New History of the ’45 Rebellion” (Bloomsbury, 2016, silver-medal winner Military History Magazine Books of 2016), “Peterloo: The Story of the Manchester Massacre“ (Head of Zeus, 2018) and “Hogarth: Life in Progress“ (Profile 2021, Sunday Times Art Book of the Year).
