Hello, I’m James D. Ellison, author. I have always lived in New England where we have the good fortune of experiencing 4 perfect seasons each year. I live at the original Ellison family homestead that has been a cornerstone of inspiration for my writing career. Here at home, I am surrounded by the region’s picturesque landscapes. It’s like living inside the set of The Sound of Music. Actually, it does feel to me like “the hills are alive” here sometimes! I think the serenity and beauty of this place fuels my passion for the environment and sustainable living. I would hate the thought of anything damaging this natural beauty. I have a strong connection to the land and a deep respect for traditional farming practices. I am particularly inspired by the enthusiasm of the younger generation eager to get their hands into the soil and cultivate a connection to the earth. One of my central aims in life is to pass on the legacy of environmental respect and agricultural sustainability to future generations. My passions are to be a beacon for sustainable living and a mentor for the next generation.
