James Grant-Peterkin is originally from the UK and graduated from Cambridge University in 2001. His studies in linguistics first led him to the South Pacific, where he spent over 20 years living on Easter Island while also serving as the British Honorary Consul. He currently writes and lectures about the human history of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, primarily on board cruise ships and at educational institutions around the world. He is the author of the Travel Enrichment Series, a collection of books aimed at helping people get the very most out of their travels by offering a unique selection of regional history and insight.
