James Grant-Peterkin

James is a cultural historian and graduate of Cambridge University. Originally from the UK, his studies in linguistics first took him to South America in 1996, where he ended up spending over 20 years living on Easter Island. He has lectured extensively about the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, including at Cambridge University and at a recent TEDx conference. James has also contributed written pieces for the Royal Institute of International Affairs and the BBC, and is the author of four books, including the Travel Enrichment Series ‘South America’
